Toronto Argonaut/MFL Fundraiser
The MFL's "SWFA" plays half-time scrimmage at Toronto Argonauts Home Game
SWFA is pleased to report that we will be participating in a joint Toronto Argonaut/Mississauga Football League Fundraiser. As part of this initiative we will be selling tickets to Argonaut games at special prices and the Argonauts will be donating a portion of the sales to the MFL and its areas. In addition some of our players will be participating in the Friday, September 11th "Retro Game" vs the Hamilton Tiger Cats by playing a scrimmage prior to the game. This game has been designated as the Mississauga Football League day and will be the day that all supporters of the MFL are asked to mark off on their calendars as our day to show our support for both the MFL and the Toronto Argonauts.
This is a unique opportunity for our players and one of our main fund raising initiatives. The money earned goes directly towards covering operating and equipment expenses that allow us to both maintain affordable registration fees and provide our players with the best and safest equipment. Without the help and support of the Argos we would not be able to provide the quality program presently offered.
