Know the name and responsibilities of each position.

Arrive on time for practices and games.

Don't look for others to blame when things go wrong.

If you make a mistake don't blame yourself, find out what went wrong and fix it.

Don't cry at a loss, learn from it.
Remember the only losers are the “Quitters”.
Quitters are not players who leave football, there are many good reasons for this choice. They are players who take the field but fail to give full effort particularly when they are on the losing end of a contest.
