Welcome to the web site of the South West Football Association. We are one of four divisions making up the Mississauga Football League in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. Our league is one of a number of leagues in Ontario whose purpose is the development of young male and female athletes, within the sport of tackle football. Our registration fee is $225.00 for the season which provides participants with all equipment except shoes, a team and individual photo and an end of year banquet. Equipment is returned at the end of the season except for team jerseys and socks which the player gets to keep.

For further information click on the FAQ link at the bottom of this page.

Bantam Raiders: First Place Finish 2008

Congratulations on an undefeated season!

Congratulations to the Atom Raiders for winning the 2008 Atom Championship!

REGISTRATION FOR 2008

Important Note: Please read the following carefully.

To register completely you must first enroll online by clicking on the link below and then hand in your signed registration form and waiver, a copy of your child's birth certificate and a recent photo as well as payment in the amount of $225.00. The league rules say that the first 30 players at atom and peewee and 35 at bantam to be "fully registered" are on the team, not the first 30 enrolled online. Further we are, by league rules, limited to the number of players mentioned above. As SW has two atom and two peewee teams this would translate to the first 60 players, at each level. Veteran players are not guaranteed a spot, but they are grandfathered to their previous team once fully registered. Rookies may be assigned to one of two teams, in the appropriate division, the Panthers or the Raiders. Once full, further registrations will be assigned to the area with the greatest need by the league registrar.

To register please double click the link below

2009 Registration (Not Open Yet)

Note: Registration fees have been raised marginally in order to cover the costs of an extra referee at our games, deemed to be in the interests of better control and therefore safety, as well as to help offset the costs of purchasing new equipment. The new cost is $225.00, still the best sports value in the city. This fee gets players the loan of all equipment except cleats. They get to keep their jerseys and socks. It also provides team and individual pictures and an end of the year banquet.

The "In Memory" link will take you to a page dedicated to individuals who once played for SWFA but have unfortunately since passed away.
